The Fontemaggio House Bed & Breakfast is located in Cossignano, in the southest part of the marchigian Adriatic coast, a few kilometers from Grottammare, the Adriatic Pearl, San Benedetto del Tronto, Ascoli Piceno as well as many medieval and romanic villages and the Sibillini mountains National Park.
The area and varied landscape that caracterize Fontemaggio House are typical of the south Marche region: long gentle sloples with a blooming flora that stretch to the sea and the Apennines with the Sibillini mountain chain and Mount Laga, with peaks over 2000 meters. Here you can also discover the unique and spectacular moon-like landscape of the “calanchi”, the result the water erosion of this claysh territory.

It’s location guarantees unsoilt natural areas ideal for holidays or short stays in total relax. The Fontemaggio House is also the perfect location for food and drink day trips.

From here you can easly get to seaside cities like Cupra Marittima, Grottammare and San Benedetto where you can choose among unpoilt beaches, family beach resorts and the lively night life.

Among the many magnificent surrounding villages that are worth a visit we can name the roman Ascoli Piceno with its many museums, the medieval village of Grottammare, the historic town of Offida (famous for the merletto a tombolo), Castel Trosino and the very close by Ripatransone, with the most narrow alley in Italy.

If you wish to enjoy longer excursions, you can reach the Gran Sasso National Park, the Laga mountains, the Frasassi caves, Ancona, Loreto, Mondavio, the Gradara castle and Urbino.
